What Is Awana?

Awana is a global ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him.

The weekly Awana club is comprised of three segments:

  • Game Time: children play games on a unique Awana Game Circle.
  • Small Group Time: children work through age-appropriate handbooks memorizing Bible verses and doing activities about missions and community service, doing Bible studies. They earn awards based on their work.
  • Large Group Time: Bible stories, missions and lessons based on Christian principles.
