Men’s Ministry
Men's Ministry

Parkway men are committed to doing life together. Through small groups, retreats, service and fellowship activities, men walk together as they encourage one another in their relationships with Christ!

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10.

The focus of this retreat will be to rest—to get away from our complicated lives for a couple of days and enjoy God’s creation. We will spend some time in small groups discussing what the Bible says about being still and resting. And we will also spend some time getting to know each other better, whether it be through fishing, hiking, playing board games, or sitting around the campfire—it’s up to you! The retreat is Thursday - Saturday, April 19-21, at Windermere in the Ozarks. Watch for more information. Cost is $120 for two nights or $75 for one night, and includes two meals each on Friday and Saturday. Space is limited, so sign up at the Welcome Center today and reserve your spot! Registration ends Saturday, April 15.

Iron Sharpens Iron Men's Ministry meets for Bible study on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. in Room W202, and on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Room E101. We spend our time studying God's Word in a large group setting then meet in small groups to go deeper in the Word and life together. The goal of our time of Bible study is to increase in the knowledge of the Word and to hold one another accountable as we live our lives together as men of God.

Currently, we are studying how to handle life's pressures. Join us we discuss how various men of the Bible dealt with intense pressure in their lives. We’ll explore how men like Moses, Aaron, Gideon, Jonathan, Peter, Jesus, and many others took Godly action under trying circumstances. The Bible will be the only book used in this study.

The Attributes of God, Wednesday evenings, 6:30 p.m.

There are many 'gods' falsely so called, but there is only one true God, and the Bible tells us about Him. Scripture describes God's character - His attributes - from Genesis to Revelation. In this series, Dr. Sproul looks at several of God's unchanging attributes, explaining how an understanding of God's character drives us to deeper reverence and awe.
